Production for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is allegedly underway. While there's little information revealed about the upcoming movie, multiple casting rumors have already gone around. And now, a new report suggests that the Asian-led film will be introducing super spies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, some MI-6 agents will be making an appearance in the upcoming film. The outlet says the movie will be introducing the idea that Shang-Chi worked for the MI-6 but has since made "his departure from the world." Agents Leiko Wu, Clive Reston, and Black Jack Tarr will reportedly be the ones to be featured. Wu once had "strong feelings" for Shang-Chi, but is now married to Reston. The source also claims that the studio has been casting for these roles and are now filled at this time.

Considering that Shang-Chi was closely associated with these agents in the comics, it wouldn't be a surprise if the film were to introduce the characters. That being said, the super spies' appearance is yet to be confirmed.

Aside from the MI-6 agents, Star Trek: The Next Generation actress Rosalind Chao was reportedly cast in a mysterious role. As well as Crazy Rich Asians star Michelle Yeoh.

If these reports were true, there's surely a lot to look forward to in the film. For now, the confirmed cast includes Simu Liu, who'll be playing the character Shang-Chi, along with Awkwafina and Tony Leung in undisclosed roles.
