The return of the Grishaverse is near the horizon as it is finally coming out on Netflix this Thursday and they are hyping the release of Shadow and Bone Season 2 with the new character posters that they unveil each day closing in on the day of its arrival.
The release of the character posters of Shadow and Bone Season 2 started last March 11 and it continues until today for each of the cast members of the upcoming second installment of the series. Check out the posters below.
Each of the posters contain the featured character and something connected to them. Other than that, their respective roles are also teased in the caption of the posts plus a countdown to when Shadow and Bone Season 2 will release.
So far, Alina Starkov, General Kirigan, and Mal Oretsev still don't have their respective character posters but it is expected that they will be featured once the release date of Shadow and Bone Season 2 nears.
Shadow and Bone Season 2 is expected to deal with what happens after the finale of the first season when it is revealed that Alina is the mythical Sun Summoner who could eradicate the Fold that separates the country in the middle.

The end of Shadow and Bone Season 1 also revealed that the Darkling is still alive and now that he knows that the one that could defeat him is in existence, the Darkling extends the Fold into the cities nearby, unleashing his vengeance and wreaking havoc once more.
Shadow and Bone Season 2 stars Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov, Ben Barnes as General Kirigan/the Darkling, Patrick Gibson as Nikolai Lantsov, Jack Wolfe as Wylan Hendriks, Anna Leong Brophy as Tamar Kir-Battar, and Lewis Tan as Tolya Yul-Battar.
Also joining the cast are Archie Renaux as Mal Oretsov, Danielle Gilligan as Nina Zenik, Amita Suman as Inej Ghafa, Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Kit Young as Jesper Fahey, Calahan Skogman as Matthias Helvar, Sujaya Dasgupta as Zoya Nazyalensk, and Julian Kostov as Fedyor.
Shadow and Bone Season 2 comes out on Netflix this Thursday, March 16, 2023.
