SEVENTEEN Hoshi developed a closer relationship with his agency, PLEDIS Entertainment.

Long before SEVENTEEN debuted, Hoshi spent his trainee years under PLEDIS. He joined the agency in 2011 before appearing on SEVENTEEN TV alongside other trainees.

As he outshined other trainees, he became one of the members of the boy group, eventually debuting in 2015 through their extended play 17 Carat.

After spending more than a decade with PLEDIS, the dancer expressed his love for his agency — and cried while doing so.

SEVENTEEN Hoshi on How Much He Loves PLEDIS

Hoshi recently sat down for an interview with rapper Lee Young Ji on her recent YouTube video. They consumed alcohol while having a chat until they got a little drunk.

From there, the rapper asked him about his love for SEVENTEEN and PLEDIS Entertainment.

According to the dancer/choreographer, the 13 members have close relationships with one another. He revealed that he realized it even more, when they renewed their contracts recently.

He noted that, although they are close, it was hard for them to come up with the same decision about their contracts due to their contrasting opinion. At one point, he admitted that he was once on the verge of giving up as he thought he could no longer continue to smile and laugh all the time.

He then talked about his love for PLEDIS, saying that the agency has always been there for them through thick and thin.

"To me though, SEVENTEEN members are friends who I can communicate and be with for a long time―kind of like friends for life rather than family members. But I just want to say, I love our agency PLEDIS Entertainment. They've supported us since the days when we were nothing. They gave us so much support since then. I really do. I truly love my agency,” he said while crying hard.

SEVENTEEN Members Renew Contract With PLEDIS

In 2021, the agency shared an announcement about the contract renewals of the 13 members — S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino.

“The 13 members all agreed to continue together through our faith in each other and the strong teamwork we built throughout the years, and we will keep doing our best to show good music and cool performances to our fans all over the world as ‘one team’ SEVENTEEN,” the group reportedly told PLEDIS, per Naver.

SEVENTEEN recently marked their most recent comeback with a new album, Face the Sun.

It became its first comeback since the group released their Attaca in October 2021 and its first full album in two years and eight months after dropping An Ode in September 2019.
