We're now getting closer to the final episode of Secret Invasion which is set to stream next week. Fans are looking forward to seeing how Nick Fury will stop the Skrulls' attempt to ignite World War III on Earth.
However, unlike the other MCU shows, the viewership for Secret Invasion was not as high as Disney+ and Marvel Studios may have been hoping for, but it is still considered a pivotal part of the franchise since it will connect to future projects such as The Marvels and Armor Wars.
Now, as we're heading to the show's much-awaited conclusion, it looks like the audience will be getting an opportunity to watch the series on another platform.
Marvel Studios Announces Secret Invasion's Release on Hulu
Marvel Studios has announced that the first three episodes of Secret Invasion will be available on Hulu starting tomorrow, July 21. However, subscribers can only stream it for a limited time as the offering only lasts until August 17.
It will be the first time that an MCU series will be available on a streaming service outside Disney+, which is usually the exclusive home of all MCU content.
This news also comes as it was announced recently that another MCU series Ms. Marvel is set to broadcast all six episodes on ABC last month. It also marks the first time that an MCU show will air on a broadcast network.
The show's availability on Hulu (which is partly owned by Disney) is definitely a promotional move for them to attract more audience to the series and give them a sneak preview before potentially subscribing to Disney+ to check out the rest.
Since the show's viewership is not high and the budget is reportedly more massive than the other MCU shows, they are trying to find another way to bring more eyeballs to the series.
Whether the strategy will end up being successful or not, the advantage here is that the series will be a little bit more accessible to the audience since Hulu subscribers that don't have Disney+ might get curious and check out the first three episodes that are available.
