Sandara Park let her 2NE1 bandmates know she remains her number 1 supporter.

The K-pop music scene faced a drastic change soon after YG Entertainment presented the “female BIGBANG” to the public in 2009. They became one of the most popular girl groups at that time, offering a less feminine debut song that was way different from the usual.

The girl group dropped several hit songs throughout its stint, making the world dance with Fire, I Don’t Care, I am the Best, I Love You, GO AWAY, Ugly, and Crush, to name a few. They also served a hair-raising performance a year before their disbandment, transforming MAMA 2015 as if it was their own show.

Although the members are no longer bonded with the group name anymore, they continue to support each other in the path they chose to thread on after 2NE1’s disbandment.

Sandara Park Supports Park Bom’s New Song

BLACKJACKs were brought back to life after Park Bom released her new digital single, Flower. The song features MeloMance’s Kim Min Seok.

The following day, Sandara Park shared a screenshot of the song to her Instagram Stories and tagged Park Bom. She asked why are the song’s lyrics sound so sad before reminiscing the emotional music they created with 2NE1.

“To be honest, back when we used to sing songs like ‘It Hurts (Slow)’ or ‘Lonely’ in the past, I didn’t know precisely what kind of emotions the songs [needed to have] while recording or singing them live, so I think I just acted with sad facial expressions… but starting from a certain point on, I began to understand them.. ‘Ah, these lyrics are really painful’… and I also started to relate to them,” she said.

Sandara Park compared it to their duet single First Snow in 2019, which also has heartbreaking lyrics. Still, she called Park Bom’s new song “great” that it now inspired her to write such lyrics in the future, too.

2NE1 Members Reunited!

Aside from recent interaction between Sandara Park and Park Bom, three members of 2NE1 also shared a reunion photo of them that proved their long-lasting friendship.

On Wednesday, CL, Minzy, and Sandara Park shared a black-and-white photo of them on their individual Instagram accounts. Park Bom was not with them, but they tagged her in their posts.

It remains unknown when the trio took the photo, but it surely made their fans’ hearts skip a beat again.
