The World of the Married actor Park Hae Joon caused the viewers to hate him so much in the series.
The 2020 hit series, The World of the Married, currently holds the top spot in the highest-rated drama in South Korean cable television history. Its commendable portrayal of cheating issues among married couples made their fans’ blood boil, attracting more people to watch the series even more.
Although the series centers on betrayal and infidelity, its male lead remains loyal to his real-life wife.

Park Hae Joon Reveals Whether He Would Tie the Knot With His Wife Again
Park Hae Joon recently joined My Little Old Boy as a special MC. During his stint, he shared his life story, specifically when he started dating his wife.
According to the actor, he started dating his wife when they met in college. He boasted how his wife liked him then, so he asked her to meet him at a gamja-tang restaurant. He initially told her that they should not date, but after having three or four hours drinking soju and talking, the actor reportedly changed his mind.

“I [changed my mind] and said, ‘Why do we need to talk about this? Let’s just date!’ After three or four hours of conversation, I said, ‘Let’s date.’ So we started dating that day. We stayed up all night drinking and talking,” he said.
Host Seo Jang Hoon asked him whether he would marry his wife again if he was born again. Park Hae Joon burst out laughing by saying he would choose not to be reborn.
He clarified that he does not want to be born again, not because he is trying to avoid his wife. Instead, he firmly said he just does not want to live again.
But after a few moments, he changed his mind again and said he would marry his wife no matter what.
Park Hae Joon to Star in New Historical Film
In related news, Park Hae Joon has been cast as part of an upcoming historical film.
Seoul’s Spring, which will be directed by Kim Sung Soo, explores the lives of characters who face tragedy in South Korea in the late 1970s.
Aside from Park Hae Joon, Hwang Jung Min, Jung Woo Sung, and Kim Sung Kyun would appear in the production.
“Famous actors of this current time have all gathered together for ‘Seoul’s Spring.’ As a director, can it get better than this?” the filmmaker said.
