Cha Jun Hwan has been making buzzes since gracing the skating rink with his figure skating skills and visuals.
Cha Jun Hwan first made people drop their jaws when he competed at the 2011 South Korean Championships and ranked fourth. He has joined more competitions since then and expanded his career in the figure skating industry locally and internationally.
Currently, he is ranked ninth in the world standings after securing fifth place in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
But amid all his triumphs, he won even more when he finally met his ideal type, Song Ji Hyo.

Cha Jun Hwan Says Song Ji Hyo is His Ideal Type
On the March 13 episode of the hit SBS variety show, Running Man, Cha Jun Hwan reunited with Jin Ji Hee, his former partner in the 2011 skating variety show, Kiss and Cry. During the introduction of the episode, Yoo Jae Suk mentioned that the figure skater previously said that Song Ji Hyo was his ideal type.
The show then showed a clip from the 2018 SBS Entertainment awards where he indeed named the actress his ideal woman. Meanwhile, the actress told him it would have been nice if he was a bit older.

Kim Jong Kook then asked him why he chose her, to which the athlete replied, “I watched ‘Running Man’ a lot, and Song Ji Hyo really had an unexpected charm.”
The cast members immediately teased him and said that Ji Hyo’s unexpected charm involves kicking and having her grab a person by their hair.
Still, Cha Jun Hwan expressed his “loyalty” toward Song Ji Hyo that he picked her again when the cast asked him who his favorite member is.
Cha Jun Hwan Garners Attention With Prince-Like Visuals
Before his appearance in the variety show, Cha Jun Hwan recently scored the spotlight due to his visuals, especially after cutting his hair.
Fans flocked online and showered him with compliments. They noted that he looked even better when he is wearing a black suit during his figure skating practices.
This led him to earn the nickname “figure prince” and “baby Jun.”
