Rumored Mephisto Actor Reportedly Filmed Scenes For Agatha: Coven of Chaos

Mephisto’s debut has been anticipated ever since WandaVision, especially when Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness appeared, seeing as both are connected to Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch. However, the villain had yet to show up, and instead, we get a spinoff centering Agatha, which is Agatha: Coven of Chaos. This coming spinoff, fans are speculating that Mephisto will finally be making his debut.

Rumor has it that Sacha Baron Cohen is set to play Marvel’s version of the devil and has been reported to make his first appearance on Ironheart. Cohen is set to appear during the latter episodes of Ironheart, specifically in episodes five and six, with details leaked that he has also been doing CGI scans for his rumored role as Mephisto.

Although there has been no official announcement yet from Marvel indicating that the actor has indeed been cast on the spinoff, Cohen has been reportedly spotted filming some scenes for Agatha: Coven of Chaos in L.A in secret.

As more Marvel news continue to involve Sacha Baron Cohen’s name, it’s becoming likelier and likelier that the actor is bound to debut as Marvel’s Mephisto, not only on Ironheart for making his entrance, but also in Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Though it is questionable how exactly he would fit into the storyline, since Aubrey Plaza is also joining the cast in a mystery role, along with Heartstopper’s Joe Locke rumored to be Billy Kaplan/Wiccan, it is interesting how Marvel’s devil will be making his own impact in the Agatha spinoff show. Agatha and Mephisto never had any direct ties with each other in the comics, they had a connection through their interaction with the Scarlet Witch.
