Lili Reinhart talks about the upcoming Riverdale Season 7, which will serve as the season finale of The CW series. Being part of the show from the start, beginning in 2017, she describes the conclusion as “bittersweet.”
Riverdale luckily gets renewed after the network goes on a cancellation spree after axing Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow and more. But as this will be the final season, what can fans expect from Riverdale Season 7?
Riverdale Season 7: The Bittersweet Goodbye
There are no words yet about Riverdale Season 7, from the number of episodes to its plans and more.
However, Reinhart, who plays Betty Cooper, talks about the show’s upcoming ending.
In an interview with Variety, the 25-year-old revealed it was quite “bittersweet” to say goodbye to the show she had worked on since she was only 18.
"There are a lot of feelings. Bittersweet is the word, because I obviously will miss this group of people that I’ve been through half of my 20s with,” she said. “We’ll never all be together again working on the same thing, so I recognize that and I think we all do and we all are sad about that. It will be a very sad day when it actually wraps, but I do think the show has done so much for all of us and we’re all so ready to show the world what else we’ve got.”

Reinhart also hinted at what’s next for her after Riverdale Season 7.
“Knowing what’s on the other side is super exciting,” she revealed. “I’m incredibly excited for the projects that I’ve been developing with my production company over the last year and a half that we’ll be ready to shoot when Riverdale ends next summer.”

However, as this will be the last time she and her co-stars are working for Riverdale, they plan to give it their all.
“But going into this final season, I think we’re all like, ‘This is our last hurrah, let’s really try to celebrate each other and spend time with each other because we won’t get this again,” she added.
What will Happen in Riverdale Season 7?
After the sixth season finale, fans will like to see how Betty and the rest of the show’s characters’ lives will continue.
Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) managed to stop the comet in the Season 6 finale. However, her power had changed the reality.
