Neil Sean spoke about the close bond between Prince Philip's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and his wife, Kate Middleton. According to the media commentator in his YouTube channel Neil Sean's Daily News Headlines, the two female royals have a "close bond."

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe also spoke about the Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge's "fantastic relationship" previously. According to him, their bond is so tight that the future queen consort has a direct line to Her Majesty if she wants to talk to her.

"Kate strikes that balance between bowing to her as head of the royal family in public but being able to check in with her as the great-grandmother to her children," Larcombe said per Express, adding that Middleton has "her own direct line to speak to the Queen."

An unnamed source also supported Larcombe and Sean's statement. Middleton has reportedly gotten close to the 95-year-old monarch when they moved closer to her.

"They developed a deeper friendship after she and [Prince] William moved from Anmer Hall, Norfolk, to Kensington Palace, which is within walking distance of Buckingham Palace," the anonymous insider added.

A recent report claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are planning to move to Windsor to be near Queen Elizabeth.

Queen Elizabeth Only Picks Up Phone For 2 People Within The Firm

Kate Middleton having a direct line to Queen Elizabeth II reflects their close relationship because the monarch is not that accessible. In fact, according to royal commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti, she only picks up her phone for two people within the firm.

"Apparently, the Queen has two people who she speaks to the most on her phones and she also apparently has a mobile phone which is said to be Samsung packed with anti-hacker encryption by MI6 so nobody can hack into her phone," Sacerdoti said on The Royally Us podcast. "But the two people she phones the most is said to be her daughter Princess Anne and her racing manager John Warren."
