Princess Eugenie has reportedly moved into Frogmore Cottage. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle confirmed earlier this month that they received an eviction notice to vacate their residence in London.

Princess Eugenie Is The New Resident Of Frogmore Cottage?

According to previous reports, King Charles asked his son, Prince Harry, and daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, to vacate Frogmore Cottage. The King would allegedly offer it to his younger brother, Prince Andrew.

Just a week after the reports made headlines about the Sussexes' eviction from their home in England, Prince Harry's cousin has reportedly taken over the place. Princess Eugenie, her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their son August had already moved into the Windsor House two weeks ago, a source told OK! Magazine.

The anonymous source said:

"The Sussexes are disappointed by the move but couldn't be happier that Eugenie and Jack will take it over. They have been staying there on and off for the past few years anyway."

The tipster continued:

"They went to see Harry and Meghan last month in California. They took over some small personal belongings left in the property. They were also helping to box up items at Frogmore to be shipped over to California. Andrew is delighted that his daughter will take over the property for the time being."

Another source confirmed that the pregnant royal, Princess Eugenie, and Brooksbank are already staying in Frogmore Cottage. However, it was reportedly only temporary as the palace doesn't have long-term plans for them to live there permanently.

Princess Eugenie's husband reportedly received a promotion at the U.S.-based firm Discovery Land Company, where he is working. So, he will be spending more time in the United States.

There are rumors that Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank will follow Prince Harry in the United States. However, the insider said Princess Eugenie is "determined to have the baby in the U.K. and bring up her children in England."

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle To Blame For Frogxit?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a statement confirming the eviction notice. Their rep said:

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage."

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said the King's move to find a new tenant wasn't surprising given that the royal couple is no longer based in the U.K. for over two years already.

"They should have realised it was inevitable. They’ve hardly lived there [at Frogmore Cottage] – just six months in the whole time of the lease."

Meanwhile, British journalist and investigative reporter, Tom Bower, author of Revenge, seemingly blamed the Sussexes for the Frogxit (Frogmore exit). According to him, they provoked His Majesty.

Bower told Page Six:

"Harry and Meghan provoked him [King Charles] with Harry’s disgraceful book and the interviews he gave."

He added:

"I mean what did he expect? Harry wanted the royal family to come on bended knee begging for forgiveness and he’s completely crossed the spectrum, he’s in the mad wilderness of deranged victimhood."
