While the racing event apparently became a family day for the royal brood, Princess Charle reportedly looked “pensive” at the time. Prince Albert, ironically, was sighted waving and beaming as if he had everything under control.

The entertainment publication previously reported that Princess Charlene, a former Olympic backstroker for South Africa, has never seemed to fit in as the cooperative royal life. Globe Magazine even claimed that the royal tried to bolt to her home country three times before her 2011 marriage to Prince Albert.

Princess Charlene, reportedly, once took refuge in her country’s embassy. However, unnamed sources told the outlet that the former athlete could not skip town because Monaco officials kept her passport.

The royal princess also split for South Africa in January 2021, weeks after a woman filed suit in Italy claiming that Prince Albert fathered her 16-year-old daughter in 2006, which is the same time he was still wooing Princess Charlene.

“The palace has had to invoke a suffering princess so often that the [people of Monaco] today find it hard to believe.”

Princess Charlene has yet to respond to Stephane Bern’s statements and to the reports claiming that she looked “pensive” and “unhappy” during her first public appearance since her trip to Switzerland.
