Prince William and Prince Harry will forever be bonded by their grief over Princess Diana's death. Since they were still very young when they lost their beloved mother, the brothers were forced to grow up and process their pain at the same time.
Prince William Tried To Open Up About Princess Diana To Prince Harry, But He Didn't Listen?
In Prince Harry's memoir Spare, he revealed that there were times when Prince William initiated conversations about Princess Diana. But these moments happened when the Duke of Sussex was still incapable of listening to his older brother because he was going through some things himself.
According to Meghan Markle's husband, Prince William usually talked about Princess Diana at Club H, the exact same place where Prince Harry drank excessively.
"Whenever he went there… I changed the subject. He'd get frustrated. And I wouldn't acknowledge his frustration. More likely, I couldn't even recognize it. Being so obtuse, and so emotionally unavailable, wasn't a choice I made. I simply wasn't capable," Prince Harry wrote (via Mirror UK).

Prince William Wanted To Talk About Princess Diana At Club H Where Prince Harry Drank Booze?
Also, in Spare, Prince Harry detailed almost everything that he did at Club H.
"There was plenty of innocent snogging, which went hand in hand with the not-so-innocent drinking. Rum and Coke, or vodka, usually in tumblers, with liberal splashes of Red Bull. When I wanted peace, Club H provided it. When I wanted mischief, Club H was the safest place to act out. When I wanted solitude, what better than a bomb shelter in the middle of the British countryside?" he wrote.
Prince William And Prince Harry Struggled To Cope With Princess Diana's Death For Many Years
Meanwhile, Prince William and Prince Harry have already opened up about their mother's untimely passing during various interviews. While speaking with Newsweek years ago, the Prince of Wales revealed that the royal family tried their best to sit him and Prince Harry down and explain to them what happened to their mother.
"The family came together and Harry and I tried to talk as best we could about it. But being so small at that age, it was very difficult to communicate or understand your feelings. It's... it's very complicated," he said (via Town and Country).
In the documentary Diana: Our Mother, Prince Harry said that it took him to understand the impact that Princess Diana had on the public. After her death, the Duke of Sussex couldn't understand why millions of people mourned with the royal family even if they had never met Princess Diana in the flesh.
"It was very, very strange after her death, you know, the sort of outpouring of love and emotion from so many people that had never even met her. "... And I was thinking to myself, how is it that so many people that never even met this woman, my mother, can be crying and showing more emotion than I actually am feeling?" he said.
And even though over 20 years have already passed since Princess Diana died following a tragic car crash in Paris, people all over the world still remember her today.
