Prince Harry Swore at King Charles While Repeatedly Asking for Financial Support During a Row, Royal Biographer Claims

Prince Harry has said a lot of things against the royal family, especially his dad King Charles and brother Prince William. According to a new book, he swore at his dad during an argument.

Prince Harry Swore At King Charles?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their royal duties in 2020. Following their decision to be financially independent of the royals, they signed multi-million deals with Netflix and Spotify.

However, prior to that, Prince Harry claimed his father cut them financially. British journalist and royal author Robert Jobson wrote about the father and son's relationship in his new book Our King: Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Revealed, which will be available on Thursday.

He shared a row between the two when Prince William's brother allegedly swore at their dad.

Jobson wrote, per Hindustan Times:

"Prince Charles simply stopped taking Harry's calls after his son swore at him and repeatedly asked for fund. When the Queen asked Charles why he hadn't given in, he told her that he wasn't a bank."

Meghan Markle's husband once spoke about being financially cut off by his dad during their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2020.

Here's what Prince Harry said at the time, according to Vanity Fair:

"My family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us. I’ve got what my mum left me, and without that, we would not have been able to do this."

Queen Elizabeth Found Prince Harry's Calls Wearisome?

Prince Harry had reportedly not only called his dad, but he also tried to persuade his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth, to help him. He allegedly kept on calling her to voice his grievances even after they moved to the United States.

Jobson wrote:

"Her Majesty found Prince Harry's calls quite difficult and wearisome. She didn't want to interfere in the father/son relationship and would urge him to speak to his father."

Her Majesty reportedly told her grandson to call his father. The previous British monarch also felt that Prince Harry was "so consumed" with his love for Markle that it was already clouding his judgment.

Queen Elizabeth also allegedly thought the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were "quite mad" for speaking against the royal family.
