Prince Harry’s memoir Spare is finally out in bookstores and online shops across the globe. When he first announced that he was writing a book, royal fans around the world were excited to hear the Duke of Sussex’s accounts. But following the release of his memoir, Meghan Markle’s husband received countless criticisms.

Did Prince Harry Overshare In Spare By Talking About His Virginity, Frostbite?

Prince Harry has been accused of oversharing in Spare. After all, he shared intimate details about his life that no one expected to read about. For instance, he revealed that he lost his virginity to a much older woman when he was just 17 years old.

He also shared that he was suffering from frostbite during Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011. And if these weren’t enough, the Duke of Sussex also dropped bombshells about King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton in Spare.

Prince Harry Fixated On Destroying Prince William, Royal Expert Claims

Following its release, royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Express that Prince Harry seems to be fixated on destroying his older brother, Prince William. So, it was quite surprising to hear the dad of two say that he wants his brother and father back.

“Actions speak louder than words. Harry and Meghan’s actions have been very destructive towards [sic] Harry’s family. Their actions have consequences and those consequences are Harry’s family distancing themselves for self-preservation,” she said.

Schofield added that if Prince Harry really wanted to reunite with King Charles and Prince William, he shouldn’t have pushed through with his memoir and documentary.

The royal expert claimed that still pushing through with his projects seems like a strategy to amplify his and Meghan Markle’s victimhood narrative, which has been lucrative for the couple’s brand.

Prince Harry Will Do Everything To Make Money, Royal Commentator Alleges

Royal commentator Phil Dampier echoed Schofield’s sentiments by saying Prince Harry will do just about anything to make money, even if it includes talking about his virginity.

“Now #Harry is telling us how he lost his virginity. Is there nothing he won’t sell for money? He has gone spare,” he tweeted (via Cheat Sheet).

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield also claimed that Prince Harry has seemingly lost his British reserve.

“It seems that Harry has lost whatever British reserve he once might have had during his marriage to Meghan and now talks openly about the most intimate things. Harry is full of contradictions. And although he once said he did not want to ‘dilute the magic’ of the monarchy, that is exactly what he has done and continues to do,” she said.

But despite all the criticisms that Prince Harry received, Rutger Bruining, founder and CEO of Story Terrace, said that Spare would continue to sell. After all, there is still a growing interest when it comes to Prince Harry and the royal family’s lives.

“Even if the book is panned by critics, the public’s fascination with Harry and the royal family is strong enough to make the book pretty much critic-proof from a sales perspective,” he said.
