Prince Harry continues to make it to the headlines amid his security row with the British government. The husband of Meghan Markle previously revealed that he applied for judicial review after a Home Office decision ruled he would be unable to personally fund police protection for his family while in the U.K.

It was claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to return to Britain two years after their shocking departure from royal life. The Duke of Sussex allegedly wants Archie and Lilibet to know and experience living in his home country.

Prince Harry’s Hand Gestures And Personal Presentation Explained

Prince Harry made his very first public appearance this year when he joined Serena Williams and Better Up’s CEO to discuss mental fitness and how to practice it. After the event, Express UK talked to body language expert Inbaal Honigman about the gestures and body language of Meghan Markle’s husband during the event.

After watching a video of Prince Harry’s speech during the event, Inbaal commented:

"Prince Harry's body language, when he was being interviewed about his BetterUp experience, was absolutely fascinating to observe. He's an articulate and engaging speaker, using the right words for every nuanced emotion, peppering his views with jokes and heartfelt, relatable examples - but most interestingly, he was using his hands to gesticulate his way through the entire appearance. When he says 'work/life balance', his hands mimic a scale, for balance, when he says 'in that discovery...' he snakes his hand left and right to imply walking along a winding path, discovering, when he says 'pinnacle' he reaches upwards to show where a pinnacle would be. The fascinating thing is, that each gesture comes before he says the actual word. He's not using his hands to support his sentences, but to lead them. He thinks faster than he talks, and moves his hands at the rapid speed of his mind, his words falling into place shortly after.”

The body language expert furthered:

“People who speak with their hands are seen as engaging, energetic, and warm, and when we view him speaking, we need to examine - is Harry really all those things, or does he know this fact, and actually uses this knowledge to exude a certain aura? Wanting to appear genuine 'on purpose'? I would suggest that he is absolutely genuine in his articulation. He doesn't need to think of what he says - his hands do the talking for him. It's harder to lie with your body than with your speech.”

Inbaal Honigman divulged:

“Had he been more instructed by his royal upbringing and strict schooling, had he delivered this interview in the way we'd expect from someone who's taken debating classes, had he been sponsored or requested to deliver an endorsement which didn't sit right with him - he'd be talking straight ahead, hands clasped in front of him, stiff and unmoving. But no - his shoulders lean forward throughout the interview, which is a gesture of closeness, wanting to connect to the person on the other side of the microphone. His hands are animated - and his eyes dart around, looking for the perfect word to say, so that his message lands correctly. He comes across honest, genuine and truly engaged in the cause. He has been changed for the better by BetterUp, and he wants to tell people about it so that they benefit the same way. What he says is what he feels.”

During one clip from the event, Prince Harry was heard saying:

“Life is about discovery…in that discovery you’re going to find things you don’t like, you’re going to find things that make you uncomfortable, you’re going to find things that are constantly pushing back on you. But as you work your way around those things, all of a sudden, all of the choas and things that were working against you in your life - be it private life, work life, that work life balance, all of the things getting in your way, either fall away, or you visualise them and are able to turn a negative into a positive and make those things work for you. And when you get to that point, from my perspective, it almost feels like a superpower.”

The husband of Meghan Markle furthered:

“But it takes time, it’s constant, it’s a work in progress. For me, it’s not like constantly buffering, but it is a work in progress. Some days are great, some days a really hard, but no matter what I put into it, I’m always kicking myself going ‘if you’d done this, this, this, that you know works for you, then you wouldn’t be in this state now.’ But again it’s work, and all the work we do and all the work we get pulled towards, it is the most fulfilling work. It is the most fulfilling work apart from being a dad.”

Prince Charles’ Marriage To Camilla Parker-Bowles Opened Doors For Prince Harry And Prince William

Meanwhile, royal experts suggested that Prince Charles opened doors for Prince Harry and Prince William to have fulfilling relationships with his decision to marry Camilla Parker-Bowles. Royal historian Sarah Gristwood made this observation and said:

“[Charles and Diana’s marriage] was, in a sense, the last gasp of the old way of royal marriages, where the bride was effectively selected for her seeming suitability as a broodmare and not because of any real attachment felt between the two people. When Charles married Lady Diana Spencer, a member of the aristocracy, it was still part of ‘the club.’”

Sarah Gristwood, who referenced the move of Prince Charles in the Netflix documentary titled Prince Harry’s story: Four Royal Weddings, also emphasized:

“When William married Kate, it was a completely different thing — marrying a girl from the middle classes. And now it’s going a stage further. Harry then marrying Meghan — a divorcee, an American, mixed race origin, an actress, all of which things would once have been unthinkable.”

Prince Charles and Prince Harry were reportedly not on speaking terms for several months following the infamous Megxit two years ago. However, last month, the Prince of Wales reportedly offered an olive branch to his son when he invited the Sussex family to stay with him should they happen to visit the U.K.
