Prince Harry is rumored to return to the U.K. very soon. Reports have it that the Duke of Sussex is planning to make his comeback to Britain together with Meghan Markle, Archie, and Lilibet.

The royal family has big events coming this year, including a memorial service for the late Prince Philip in April and the grand celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth in June. Though Prince Harry already stepped down from being a senior working royal he remains an essential part of the Firm and remains sixth in the line of succession to the British throne.

Is Prince Harry Still Returning In The U.K. Despite Megxit?

Despite all the controversies he was involved in, devoted followers of Prince Harry remain hopeful to see him get reunited with the other members of the royal family. It was previously claimed that Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William were all brokenhearted after learning about the Duke of Sussex’s decision to leave the palace and live in the U.S. instead.

Prince Harry, despite the infamous Megxit, has remained one of the four Counselors of State, who are authorized to carry out most of Queen Elizabeth’s duties should she fail to show up on a temporary basis. The Duke of Sussex is still a U.K. citizen and is eligible to continue in the role as he qualifies as being domiciled in Britain because of his former Windsor pad.

The Telegraph reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle renewed their lease on Frogmore Cottage, which is due to expire on March 32. This, according to reports, is an indication that the Sussex couple has not entirely closed the door on life in Britain.

A spokesperson for Prince Harry told the publication:

"There are no planned changes to the current arrangement."

The latest move of Prince Harry also suggests that he is serious about returning to the U.K. However, despite all of this, the husband of Meghan Markle has made it clear that he has some serious security concerns when it comes to returning to Britain.

Prince Harry previously underscored he does not feel safe at all. As a matter of fact, the brother of Prince William is presently seeking a judicial review of the Home Office’s refusal to allow him to pay police protection for his family when they are in the U.K.

A legal representative for Prince Harry shared the Duke of Sussex wants Meghan Markle, Archie, and Lilibet to be safe. However, it is too dangerous without adequate police protection.

A statement from Prince Harry’s legal team read:

"Prince Harry inherited a security risk at birth, for life. The UK will always be Prince Harry's home and a country he wants his wife and children to be safe in. With the lack of police protection, comes too great a personal risk."

Is Prince Harry In The Immediate Line Of Succession?

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is slammed anew over the claims that he is “in the immediate line of succession.” Numerous royal experts and fans have been debating on the Duke of Sussex’s chance of becoming the king in the future.

Talking to LBC, royal commentator Angelina Levin shared:

"What annoyed me incredibly is he said he was in the immediate line of succession. Does he really think he's got a chance to be king when he's behaved like this? The Queen's got to stand up to it. I think she's got to stop him being the Counsellor of State and that means when she can't manage or unwell, they become stand-ins. They go to meetings and they sign documents."

The comments of the royal expert came days after it was confirmed that the first hearing in Prince Harry’s security row took place at Royal Courts of Justice in London, which he did not attend. The better half of Meghan Markle, who is challenging a Home Office decision not to allow him to pay for police protection for himself and his family, currently faces backlash over this move.
