American author Lionel Shriver joined Dan Wootton on the February 17 episode of GB News. The pair discussed Joe Biden’s decision to bring Kamala Harris as his running-mate and the Spectator columnist criticized the VPOTUS.
When Dan asked Lionel if Kamala Harris had been “an incompetent diversity hire,” the Joe Biden supporter stated:
"Indeed. She can't think on her feet. She's got some kind of nervous problem with her laugh. Although I've noticed lately in her appearances, I think they've really tried to get control of this tick of hers. She's really sober-sided."
Lionel Shriver even described Kamala Harris’ laugh as “grating” and claimed the former Californian Senator “uses it to bide time.” The So Much For That writer also lambasted the Vice President on policy, saying:

"I gather she's something of a tyrant and she doesn't do her homework. Now that doesn't sound like someone who is properly in line for the presidency of the United States."
Kamala Harris, who has been reported to be running for President in 2024, had been getting low numbers in the opinion polls lately. Polling aggregator Real Clear Politics revealed that the average approval rating of the VPOTUS stands at -14.2 percent.
