Prince Harry had dated a number of women before Meghan Markle. Royal biographer and former royal editor of The Sun, Duncan Larcombe, noticed a pattern in his dating life.

Prince Harry Morphs Into The Person He's Dating With

The Duke of Sussex dated Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy before Meghan Markle. In those relationships, Larcombe noted that he was not the confident Prince Charming many thought he was. In contrast, he was reportedly "very much the subordinate" in all of his relationships.

"Harry has changed and morphed depending on who he's been dating," the royal expert told Fox News Digital.

He described Prince William's younger brother as "the boyfriend who's willing to go along and meet all the friends of the new girlfriend and just tag along."

Larcombe recounted Prince Harry's dating years with Davy and Bonas. When he was with the Zimbabwean beauty, whom he met during his gap year in South Africa, he reportedly befriended a whole group of her pals, and he basically "morphed into Chelsy's friends."

He was photographed sunbathing, paddling in a canoe and sleeping in a tent. Their relationship was heavily scrutinized by the press because they saw a different Prince Harry — someone who walks around barefoot sits by the campfire, and paddles in the outbacks of Africa.

When he met the British model and actress Bonas, Prince Harry reportedly transformed into the Bohemian society girl's circle. He reportedly looked like Bonas dressed him, and it was both "awkward" and "ridiculous."

"The point is he really just morphed depending on who he's with, and that's a worrying sign," Larcombe pointed out.

Prince Harry Morphed Into Another Man While Dating And After Marrying Meghan Markle

The Duke of Sussex turned into a new man again when he welcomed Meghan Markle. The Times royal correspondent Valentine Low even said that he "died" the moment he met Markle because he changed big time.

Reader's Digest listed some of the changes observed in Prince Harry after he met the former Suits actress. Most of her influence is visible in his lifestyle.

Prince Harry learned to love yoga.

"We never thought Harry would be raving about yoga, but he loves it," an anonymous source told Vanity Fair.

He also quit smoking and drinking. The Duchess of Sussex didn't drink when she was pregnant, and Prince Harry reportedly signed on to join her alcohol-free months when they were expecting Archie.

"Considering he's been a pretty brutal drinker since he was a young teenager, it's quite an achievement," another unnamed insider said.

He also used to "love lying." However, since his wife is an early riser, Prince Harry has reportedly adjusted his time clock and is "up super early" with Markle.

He also seemed to mirror Markle's family arrangement. The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from his family. Markle, herself, is not on speaking terms with her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., and all of her relatives on her dad's side.

"Maybe we can believe Harry's his own man. Now he calls the shots. It doesn't look like it," Larcombe added. "This looks like another example of how Harry has tried to morph himself into what he believes is the vision of normal as the person he's dating."
