Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth have always been very close. In fact, the monarch even showed Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle her support when they told her that they wanted to relocate to the United States. At the time, the monarch released a statement saying that she wishes the Sussexes all the best.

Since then, Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth have not been photographed together. After all, there are only very few times wherein the Duke of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom.

Queen Elizabeth Purposely Removed Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Photo

Globe, in its Jan. 17 issue, claimed that the queen already froze Prince Harry and Markle for good, and she dropped a major clue during her Christmas Day speech.

Every year, the queen gives a speech to royal fans in the United Kingdom and across the world. And eagle-eyed netizens are always looking forward to seeing the photos that will be featured on the queen’s table. Last month, to their surprise, only Prince Philip’s framed photo was shown on television.

Queen Elizabeth Erased The Entire Royal Family

An unnamed source said that this was the queen’s way of erasing the entire royal clan because they have brought her nothing but stress and unhappiness in the past year.

“The traditional Christmas photograph is always a clue as to which family members are in favor and those who are out. Every year, the framed pictures seem to get shifted around and the family members she’s happy with are always in the front of the desk and in view. The last portrait only features an early picture of her with her adored late husband. The prominent display of Philip was a tribute to him since he was the backbone of her reign,” the unnamed source said.

The unnamed source added that the queen has nothing but wonderful memories of her late husband, who she was with for over seven decades.

“He was also an example of a man who lived and died with class – taking many scandalous secrets with him to the grave,” the unnamed source said.

Even though all the other royal family members are not featured during the queen’s Christmas Day speech, the unnamed source claimed that only Prince Andrew and Prince Harry took offense. After all, they were the ones that brought the most scandals into the royal family.

In the book Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan, author Christopher Andersen that the queen purposely had Prince Harry and Markle’s photo removed.

“Harry later felt he was being erased from the family. When somebody cuts you out of the family album, so to speak, it’s a pretty strong message,” Andersen wrote.

Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth Are Still Close

However, it is also possible for the queen to have chosen only a photo of Prince Philip because it was her first Christmas without her husband. The Duke of Edinburgh died in April.

It’s not also true that the queen froze Prince Harry and Markle out. In August, royal commentator Omid Scobie said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still close to the monarch, according to Marie Claire.

On multiple occasions, various sources also revealed that Prince Harry and Markle FaceTimes with the queen regularly.
