Meghan Markle Wants To Be Part Of The Acting Industry By Attending Award Shows
OK! magazine, in its Jan. 10 issue, claimed that Markle has not forgotten her acting roots that’s why she’s grabbing different opportunities that come her way. In fact, the Duchess of Sussex is, allegedly, desperate to attend the Oscars.
An unnamed source said that Markle is trying to convince Prince Harry to join her on the red carpet, but the Duke of Sussex refused to attend because he doesn’t want to cross paths with Kristen Stewart.
“Harry and Meghan have been invited to all the big events and planned on attending the Oscars too, but they’d almost certainly come face-to-face with Kristen since she’s locked for the best actress nomination,” the unnamed source said.

Markle is, allegedly, convincing Prince Harry to just ignore the Spencer actress if they ever bump into her at the Oscars.
“But Harry’s not one to be fake, and his nerves are still raw. He’s actually thinking about skipping the Oscars, but Meghan really wants to get back into the Hollywood scene,” the unnamed source said.

Last month, New Idea published a similar story about Prince Harry and Markle.
The publication claimed that the couple was invited to the Oscars this year, but they politely declined the invitation because they know that Stewart will be there.
Rumors that Prince Harry and Markle are upset with Stewart started after the actress was tapped to portray Princess Diana in Spencer. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had reservations regarding Stewart’s portrayal, several experts praised the actress for a job well done.
There are also predictions that Stewart would receive countless nominations at the different award shows because of her impressive portrayal of the Princess of Wales.
As such, an unnamed source claimed that Markle’s dreams of attending the award shows have been dashed.
“It would certainly blow a hole through Meghan’s hopes of attending the Academy Awards next year if they have to sit through any sizzle reels of Kristen as Diana. Some scenes in the film are quite graphic and Harry won’t be pleased with the depiction of his mother. The couple has been considered lobbying the academy to ignore the film, which they never do,” the unnamed source said.
However, there’s no proof that Prince Harry and Markle received an invitation to attend the Oscars or any other award show for that matter.

Kristen Stewart Doesn’t Care If She Wins An Award Or Not
And while it is true that Stewart earned multiple nominations from her role as Princess Diana, the actress made it clear that she doesn’t care about getting an award.
“The Oscars are such a funny thing. There are so many incredible movies and performances that barely get seen. It definitely says something about where we're at as a cumulative presence – what we're looking at, what we care about. I really appreciate that something that I was involved in has ignited such a large conversation. We don't make movies to not connect with each other,” Stewart told Variety.
