At the end of this year, Starz will air the first episode of Power Book II: Ghost Season 3.
Michael Rainey Jr.'s character Tariq St. Patrick has been juggling his personal and professional lives for the past two seasons, and like his father, James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), he has discovered that it is almost impossible to do so.
For two seasons, Tariq has been under the control of drug lord Monet Tejada (Mary J. Blige). Season 3 should be even more exciting. Fans are waiting for the release date to be announced.
Expect Shocking Episodes in Power Book II: Ghost Season 3
Tariq has been through a lot, and a lot has transpired behind his back with Brayden (Gianni Paolo), Effie (Alix Lapri), and Lauren (Paige Hurd). Things are about to come to light in Power Book II: Ghost Season 3, making for some truly unsettling episodes.
“There will be fault lines drawn between Tariq and his friends, for various reasons,” Power Universe creator Courtney Kemp explained to Entertainment Weekly. “There will be a series of earthquakes, and then a series of aftershocks that will shake the foundation and remake the series in a really sort of impactful way. That’s Season 3.”
Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 Release Date
The second season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan will release on August 12, according to a new announcement from Starz. Since Ghost will also be released this year, it's possible that they will announce the trailer and release date while Kanan is on the air.
Due to the fact that people were traveling during the Christmas season, the series last year had a November premiere and was split into two parts. We are aware that this year's filming was a little bit delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic in New York City.
“I don’t have a date, but I can tell you they are shooting the finale right now,” Kemp said during an Instagram Live. “The Omicron surge made us have to delay the beginning of Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 and take a break in the middle of Raising Kanan Season 2. It’s going to be on a little later as a result, but like a tiny bit. And I think it’s actually more going to affect the second half of the season, but not that much.”

When the season premiere date is announced, fans can expect to be drawn back into Tariq's world. We saw him struggle to break free from Monet and the Tejada family last season. However, in Power Book II: Ghost Season 3, he will most likely become more involved with them.
“It’s the world that he’s in and he needs the money and he needs to keep going,” Kemp told TV Line.
