Pokemon: The First movie will be screened for just two days. It will show on October 29th and November 1st of this year. It will have been 17 years since Pokemon: The First Movie was originally released in American theatres in 1999.

Pokemon: The First Movie shows Ash and Pikachu facing off against the Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo, who aims to wipe out humanity. A special short will be shown alongside the movie, titled "Pikachu's Vacation". It shows Pikachu, Togepi, Squirtle and Bulbasaur tangling with Pokemon bullies at a park.

Pokemon: The First Movie's English dubbed release got largely negative critical reaction, but raked in $160 million at the box office regardless. I might check out the movie myself, as it's a fun bit of nostalgia. What about you? Will you be going to this special Pokemon showing?
