Pokemon Go Opens Gyms With an Extra Surprise

Niantic Labs has just opened the Gyms for a few more players following the extensive changes and upgrades that Pokemon Go received. And while some fans (sadly mostly high-level ones) have been enjoying the revamped look and added features, the developer has included a few more bonus additions that will make gameplay even more fun and efficient.

Long-time players of Pokemon Go probably already have the issue of maxed out storage space, particularly for their baggage. After all, since the release of the game, we've already received a lot more items beyond the standard PokeBalls, Razz Berry, and Egg Incubators. Now, there are new PokeBalls, two more types of Berries, and Evolution items for further Evolutions.

And with more items now expected to be obtained when one plays in the Gyms, it's only natural that some people would want to have a bigger storage in the bag. Not only will players have a chance to team up with others to take down Raid Bosses, but more rewards and the continuing events that we can expect for the game sometimes make it hard to balance what exactly we would need to hoard, collect, and discard.

So the developer's new announcement would be insanely good news: Pokemon Go will be getting a storage upgrade. The Pokemon Go Twitter account announced that the max number of items currently available for the Bag has been increased:

This will definitely make hoarding even better, because a 500-item increase is sizable enough, after all the events. For attendees of the Pokemon Go Fest event, this is definitely good news. For lower-level players who still manage to cap their storage space, this may be the only bit of good news they can enjoy at least until they reach Level 35.

I knew we should have continued playing even while waiting for new updates. Time for another batch of grinding.
