Park Eun Bin opened up about her The Witch: Part 2. The Other One role amid the success of the movie.
The Witch: Part 2. The Other One, follows the story of a young girl who manages to escape a secret laboratory. She is the only one who survived the accident that damaged the whole place. Several forces with different objectives start the hunt to chase the young girl.
It continues the story after Kim Da Mi’s Ja Yoon, a female high school student who was trained to become a murder weapon, received medical experiments until she suffered due to an identity crisis.
Park Eun Bin plays the role of Kyung Hee in the installment. She helps Shin Si Ah’s character to escape danger.

Park Eun Bin Curious About Her Casting
In a new interview, Park Eun Bin discussed her The Witch: Part 2. The Other One character and said that she felt curious about why the director wanted to cast her.
According to the actress, she thought she did not have much to show in the multi-awarded franchise. However, the director eventually revealed the truth afterward.

“Something in the middle of humanity’s good and evil sides was needed, and the director included characters that would balance out the two sides. I was cast as a character more aligned with the good side,” she explained. “My character was an indispensable role used to suppress the inherent evil of the girl.”
As her character helps Shin Si Ah’s character escape after leaving the laboratory, Park Eun Bin soon realized how important her character is.
Park Eun Bin Says The Witch Franchise Has a Lot of Plot Twists
During the same interview, the actress opened up about hearing how interesting the first film was. However, it took her years before she was able to watch it.
Per Park Eun Bin, she got the chance to see the first movie after receiving an offer to star in its installment. Although she faced second thoughts, she eventually found out why The Witch scored people’s attention.
“I realized then why it was so popular. The unpredictability of the characters was interesting, as well as the action and story full of plot twists,” she said.
The Witch: Part 2. The Other One was released in South Korea on June 15.
