Pablo Hidalgo Ends Supreme Leader Snoke Rogue One Rumors Once And For All


With the dawn of a new era of Star Wars films, fans have concocted countless theories about different characters in the saga. Not all of them are believable though. Some have stood out more than others.

With the release of the trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, among theories that stood out is the story behind the scene where a mysterious cloaked figure is seen kneeling in front of what appears to be Bacta tank, a medical healing booth used by Luke Skywalker after his misadventure with a Wampa on Hoth.

According to theory laid out in a video by YouTube channel The Stupendous Wave, the scene allegedly involves a young Supreme Leader Snoke after he sustains injuries that leads to his disfigured exterior.

The theory might be logical at first glance. However, Rogue One is a standalone Star Wars film, and giving away a potentially key backstory in a film unrelated to the sequel trilogy would be a perplexing move for Lucasfillm.

Lucasfilm Story Group's Creative Executive, Pablo Hidalgo, seems to think so as well as he has taken to Twitter to debunk the theory that has gained quite the popularity in recent weeks.
