Want to appear in one of Netflix's most popular American TV shows? Then you should get hyped, especially if you're in Charleston, South Carolina.
Outer Banks, the action-adventure mystery teen drama, was renewed in December 2021, and has been in production since February 2022 in Barbados and South Carolina. The series hit the top spot on Netflix's charts with 2.1 billion minutes viewed in just a week after the release of Season 2 last year. Now, OBX is looking for extras in the Charleston area of South Carolina.
Here's your chance to be an extra in Netflix's Outer Banks Season 3
OBX director Kimmie Stewart told The Post and Courier that the series is currently looking for extras for Season 3.
The casting calls were posted on the Kimmie Stewart Casting's Facebook page and Instagram. Stewartcasting.com also has additional information, and anyone can email their application to firstname.lastname@example.org.
According to the casting call, the requirements require two current photographs of yourself: a full-body and a head shot that shows accurate length, weight, hair color, and visible tattoos. Additionally, you will need to provide your name, email address, phone number, age, height, weight, wardrobe sizes, current city, COVID-19 vaccination records, a parent or guardian's contact information if you are under 18-years-old, a list of visible piercings and tattoos, and the color, make, year, and model of the vehicle they will be driving to the set of the show.
OBX Season 3 is mainly casting 18 and up locals, and all must be fully-vaccinated for the coronavirus, due to Netflix's contract with the Alliances of Motion Picture and Television Producers and the industry's unions.
Netflix hasn't announced an official release date for Outer Banks Season 3, but expect the show to return by late 2022 or early 2023. You can read more details about the upcoming season in our dedicated article for OBX 3.
