"I think there will be a lot of resolve for Sarah," Cline told E! News. "A lot of resolve and emotions towards her family. We haven't seen her stand on her own two feet with her family for the last seasons, so we're finally seeing that."

Sarah is not the only one evolving in Outer Banks Season 3; According to Cline, the Pogues and Kooks may change a lot in the upcoming season.

"We're exploring a lot of different dynamics and story lines that we haven't had a chance to yet," she revealed. "I'm just really excited about everything that we've shot and everything that I've read so far."

As for the status of John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah Cameron's relationship, Cline says: "My lips are sealed. I will say nothing. I think anticipation is one of the best things about being in the off-season. I get so excited myself to even get a new script. I can't wait for everyone to experience that."

In real-life, however, fans know that Stokes and Cline, who celebrated their one-year anniversary split up in November 2021. A source told People: "They were trying to work things out privately but broke up a couple of months ago.”

The 24-year-old star will also appear in Rian Johnson's Knives Out 2, which is set to release on Netflix this year.
