As fans eagerly await more info on the second season, Oshi no Ko events and collabs are showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, Oshi no Ko just announced a collaboration with the Yomiuri Land theme park.
This new collab is the latest in a long line of crossovers for the hit anime.
Aside from cafés, the series even teamed up with the Yomiuri Giants which happened a few weeks ago.
It seems that anywhere you look in Japan, you won’t miss Oshi no Ko. And that’s to be expected given how big of a hit the series is.
Oshi no Ko: An Early Anime of the Year Contender
Although the anime had hype behind it ahead of its premiere, the feature-length first episode of Oshi no Ko blew everyone away with its unique story and shocking moments.
Thanks to this, the anime became one of the most talked-about shows of the Spring 2023 season.
Soon after, the manga also saw a huge boost in popularity as its copies in circulation more than doubled by the end of the season.
Along with the show itself, the anime’s original songs also became huge hits. The opening song, Idol, by YOASOBI is a particularly big hit as it topped the charts globally.
And if there’s still any doubt about the show’s success, a recent Japanese poll revealed that Oshi no Ko is the favorite show of many younger anime fans in the first half of 2023.
Given its success, it’s no surprise that collaborations with the show continue to be revealed, with the latest one being a theme park crossover.

Oshi no Ko Reveals New Collab With Yomiuri Land Theme Park
The Oshi no Ko x Yomiuri Land theme park collab was announced on the park’s official website and shared on the anime’s official Twitter account.
On the website, details about the collab were revealed, along with a special visual featuring the anime’s main characters in outfits inspired by the Yomiuri Land mascots.
This visual specifically features Aqua and Akane at the top, with B-Komachi members Ruby, Kana, and Mem-Cho at the bottom.
As for the collab itself, fans can enjoy five attractions with music and voice recording from the anime.
There’s also a batting cage in the amusement park with an Oshi no Ko theme in reference to Aqua and Kana's baseball scene.
The Oshi no Ko x Yomiuri Land collab will happen from August 10 to September 10, 2023.
