Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will wrap up the entire Skywalker Saga, and with it, the stories of some of our favorite characters in the franchise. Oscar Isaac, who plays Poe Dameron, recalled his last day on set, which got real emotional, real fast.

Isaac recently did an interview with Sirius XM to promote the highly-anticipated movie. He was asked regarding his last day on shooting the film and what he initially felt at that moment. "I was feeling like ‘I'll see everybody at reshoots. See you in a few months!" Isaac jokingly said.

"Actually that day was kind of funny," Isaac said. He was handed the mic to "say a few words," where he talked about "how special it's been" and he even got "emotional" in the process. However, J.J. Abrams was signaling him to "wrap it up" because it was also Daniels' last day and admits that it was a "way bigger deal" because the actor has been in every Star Wars movie.

He revealed that his thunder was "stolen" because of this, but he didn't mind because he was there "to hear Daniels say goodbye to Star Wars." Isaac said "it really hit home" for him to be able to work with Daniels since this made him feel like he is a "part of a great, great legacy."

"To be the guy that wrapped right before he did and to hear him say goodbye was really special," Isaac added. He revealed that Daniels' speech involved thanking Abrams and expressing how much he loved the director. "It was really beautiful to watch," Isaac admitted.

In a previous interview, Daniels said that The Rise of Skywalker would be a "very good bye-bye moment" for him. That being said, Abrams revealed that C-3PO will be "very center" to the story and that he would have more screentime.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
