Star Wars: Unofficial Baby Yoda Toy Sold on Etsy

It might take some time before Disney could release any Baby Yoda merchandise despite the overwhelming demand from Star Wars fans. However, one Etsy designer has already beaten the House of Mouse when it comes to producing a toy of the adorable The Mandalorian character.

Etsy seller MelvonANDReine presented exquisitely-made one-of-a-kind Baby Yoda toys made of polymer clay and artificial fur. The item is tiny at just over 8.5 inches long but it seems like the perfect size.

Unfortunately, the Baby Yoda toy is already sold out (no surprise here) and the seller has announced that orders for the item are temporarily closed. For now, it's still unclear when they will be accepting orders again.

But will you get to bring Baby Yoda home in time for the holidays? Unfortunately, it looks like you'll still need to wait for the unofficial toy anyway. The seller has pointed out that their toys usually take between 13 to 16 weeks to make so you might need to wait until February or March to get your hands on Baby Yoda. Additionally, an update confirmed that orders made after November 28 will be shipped out in June 2020.

Disney has not yet confirmed when they will be selling official Baby Yoda toys. So far, the only available merchandises are shirts and other accessories. Hopefully, the House of Mouse will have good news for The Mandalorian fans before the holidays.

The first three episodes of The Mandalorian (all of which feature Baby Yoda) are currently streaming on Disney+.
