While it’s been a year since it originally aired, One Piece Episode 1,000 will finally get a world premiere with its English dub this July at Anime Expo. And the best part is, this premiere will be free.

The episode’s premiere was announced recently by Toei Animation and Crunchyroll.

It was also revealed that the premiere will feature various experiences for fans to enjoy, including signing events with the show’s voice cast.

One Piece’s 1,000th episode is not only a significant milestone, but the episode itself is also a celebration of the series.

It’s fair to say that One Piece is among the most legendary shounen anime and manga titles of all time.

Even now, 25 years after the manga began, One Piece’s story continues to unfold, with fans still eager to see what happens next.

Because of this, when the anime reached its 1,000th episode, Toei Animation pulled out all the stops to celebrate this achievement.

For starters, the episode brought back the iconic opening song We Are!, though the animated sequences are updated to reflect the Straw Hat Crew's journey up to this point.

As for what happens in the episode, the show features clips that look back at each of the Straw Hat Crew member’s backstories, and major events were shown.

When the episode was first released in November 2021 with its Japanese dub, fans all over the world watched it with anticipation.

Now, fans can relive the excitement, this time with the English dub.

Free Screening of Episode 1,000 English Dub Happening at Anime Expo 2023

One Piece Episode 1,000 will premiere alongside the series’ celebration at Anime Expo 2023.

Though the screening won’t happen at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Instead, it will take place at the GRAMMY Museum.

During the premiere, fans will be treated to autograph signing sessions with Sonny Strait (Usopp), Patrick Seitz (Franky), and Ian Sinclair (Brook).

There will also be Q&A sessions with Toei Animation staff, photo-ops, exclusive giveaways, and more activities for attendees.

While the premiere event will be free, entry will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Though an Anime Expo badge won’t be required to attend the screening.

This One Piece premiere event is happening on July 2 at the GRAMMY Museum at L.A. Live.
