NewJeans maintains the top spot in the January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings.
The January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings were thoroughly measured through an analysis of consumer participation, media exposure, social media communication, and community value indexes of girl groups using big data collected from December 8, 2022, until January 8, 2023.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 55,441,187 brand big data for January 2023. This was a 7.38% increase compared to the 51,632,684 recorded in December 2022.

NewJeans Ranks First Place At The January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
Rookie girl group NewJeans secured the top spot in the January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings. Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein accumulated a total brand reputation index of 7,299,275. This was an impressive 36.13% increase compared to December 2022 of 5,361,953.
NewJeans received a participation index of 1,375,300, media exposure of 2,217,183, a social media communication index of 1,870,115, and a community value index of 1,836,676.
The group’s high-ranking phrases include “OMG,” “Ditto,” and “YouTube.” While the highest-ranking terms include “surpass,” “record,” and “sweep.”
BLACKPINK Takes Second Place In The January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
Global girl group BLACKPINK settles into second place in the January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings.
Jennie, Lisa, Rose, and Jisoo accumulated a total brand reputation index of 6,181,277. This was a 21.04% increase from the brand reputation index of 5,106,657 in December 2022.
BLACKPINK received a participation index of 179,316, media exposure of 1,081,582, social media communication index of 1,559,048, and a community value index of 3,361,330.

IVE Follows At Third Place In The January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Lee Seo from IVE received a total brand reputation index of 3,208,974. This was a 60.25% increase in their total brand reputation index in December 2022 which was 2,002,541.
IVE secured third place in the January Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings with a consumer participation index of 459,272, media exposure of 1,169,117, social media communication index of 702,095, and a community value index of 878,490.
