People have been wondering what happened to Bo Peep all this time. However, it looks like Toy Story 4 will reveal what happened to the porcelain shepherdess. Interestingly, the new Disney/Pixar film could make up for her absence by giving her a major role.
The new details of Bo Peep's return were found in a Russian calendar featuring most of the Disney sequels. The image from Toy Story 4 was shared on Instagram and it features Bo Peep with Woody, Buzzlightyear and the new toy Forky. Check it out below.
The photo confirms that Bo Peep has swapped out her lovely pink dress for a blue pantsuit. In addition to that, it seems to indicate that the shepherdess will not be a mere love interest in Toy Story 4. Nevertheless, the description for the film included in the calendar suggests that romance could still be in the air.
The translation for the Toy Story 4 description reads as follows:
"Since Andy went to college, toys have moved to a new house where a small girl named Bonnie lives. Her first day in kindergarten will put a beginning to adventures and meeting new toys, some of the old friends an even a romantic story."
We're certainly looking forward to seeing Bo Peep in action this year. Hopefully, this could mean that she and Woody will continue with their relationship while the shepherdess manages to kick some butt as well.
Toy Story 4 will be the final film in the franchise. It is scheduled for release on June 21.
