There is little doubt that Toy Story 4 is one of the most anticipated films in 2019. So is it possible that an old character is set for a major comeback in the animated franchise's final movie? A leaked photo has just revealed that Bo Peep is back and she just got a new look.
The Toy Story 4 promo art was shared on Instagram and clearly features Bo Peep along with Woody and a partially hidden Buzz Lightyear. Needless to say, the porcelain shepherdess has been given an interesting redesign. Take a look at the image below.
Bo Peep may have given up her pink bonnet for a pink bow. In addition to that, she's sporting a new blue dress instead of the pink one we saw in the first Toy Story movie. Could this be the same Bo Peep voiced by Annie Potts? Or are we looking at a new Bo Peep? Either way, we're looking forward to seeing the shepherdess back in action next year.
The synopsis for Toy Story 4 reads as follows:
"Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that's Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called "Forky" to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy."
There have been speculations that Bo Peep will play a major role in Toy Story 4. After all, the original premise of the film was supposed to be the search for Woody's former flame. However, the latest teaser for the movie seems to focus more on a new character named Forky, a spork who clearly isn't happy about being made into a toy.
Toy Story 4 will premiere on June 21, 2019.
