New Star Wars Series Showrunner Leslye Headland Shows Off Epic Leia Tattoo

Monday, May the 4th, brought upon exciting Star Wars news, including a new Disney+ series from Russian Doll creator Leslye Headland. There's not much information about her show yet, but it is likey in great hands, with Headland being a huge Star Wars fan. And to celebrate the news, she shows off her epic Leia tattoo.

Taking to Instagram, Headland shares a tattoo on her hand of the iconic Star Wars character, saying that it was of Raph McQuarrie's concept art. She also shared her thoughts on the outpouring support and greetings from her friends and family in being able to work for Lucasfilm and creating something in the Star Wars universe, which Headland says is her dream.

While she is "still on cloud nine" and emotional from all the support she's been given thus far, Headland says she is "steadily continuing to work" with her team with what they have already started and can't wait for the fans to see it. You can check out her post below!

There's no doubt that Headland is a huge Star Wars fan, revealing in a previous interview that she has had ideas for Star Wars movies since she was around eight years old. The announcement states it is a "new untitled" series but early reports claim that Headland is working on a female-centered show.
