New Captain America: Civil War Featurette Highlights The Vision's Struggle with Power

With the looming release of Captain America: Civil War, Marvel is going full force with the movie’s promos. The latest one is a featurette that highlights new Avenger, The Vision, and the problems that his powers are presenting.

The new featurette features parts of an interview (full version embedded at the end of article) with actor Paul Bettany, who plays the all-powerful and logical superhero.

Bettany said:

He's very much part of the team, accepted at first. He's then trying to explore power and the nature of it.
He’s trying to work out what he is and the extent of his power... [and] he'd like to keep the family together.

The 44-year-old actor added that this power of his is “inviting opposition.”

Check out the clip, which also shows Vision getting outmatched by Hawkeye at one point:

It’s worth noting that a clip of Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch using her powers on The Vision was shown at the moment Bettany said “inviting opposition.”

I’m guessing this opposition that he’s describing is Wanda Maximoff, even though Olsen teased earlier this month that Wanda and The Vision will have some “sweet moments”in the film.

You can take a look at the other things Bettany had to say about his character and Captain America: Civil War in the interview below:

Bettany said Civil War will get “everybody salivating for what is to come,” and we already are.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6.
