Netflix’s Castlevania Writer Teases Season 3 Trailer

It looks like we're going to get some Castlevania Season 3 news sooner rather than later as series writer Warren Ellis has given fans a major tease. While Ellis doesn't give us a release date or trailer, he does show off the series' title card in motion after some editing, showing that they could be near completion with season 3.

This is great news for fans of the series since it feels like forever since Castlevania Season 2 came out. While the previous season seemingly ended the main conflict by killing Dracula (erm, spoilers?) but a third season was confirmed, with new villains set to take on our leads Trevor and Alucard. We can expect great writing from Ellis, who never fails to fill the series with wit and cool fights.

While it would have been nice to get some sort of date for the Castlevania Season 3 trailer, we're sure that will drop any day now. Netflix knows how valuable this series is, being the only genuinely great video game adaptations out there and we seriously need more of it. The fact that Konami isn't releasing any Castlevania games anytime soon is also why fans want more of this series.

After making their way through the castle and killing Dracula, we hope that Castlevania Season 3 doesn't feel too forced. The new bad guys seem promising but we'll have to see them in action before making any rash judgments. Once again, let's just hope it's another good season.

The first two seasons of Castlevania can be streamed on Netflix right now.
