Netflix's Castlevania Season 3 is a highly-anticipated show that many fans have been salivating for. The first two seasons were critically acclaimed and had some fantastic animation, along with some surprisingly witty writing, thanks to the talents of Warren Ellis. While we still don't have a release date for the third season, the Castlevania Twitter page did reveal a brand-new image from the third season, showing off Carmilla and several new characters who have yet to appear in the show.
As many fans know, the ending to Castlevania Season 2 had Trevor, Alucard, and Sypha succeeding in their mission to destroy Dracula, which shocked a lot of people. That seemed to be the main driving force of the show and we all thought it would have ended there. However, Carmilla's appearance in this picture proves that there is more to come and it will be interesting to see how these new characters operate.
Konami fans have also been appreciative of the series since the gaming company doesn't really release video games anymore. Not video games fans want anyway. Konami hasn't released a new Castlevania game in the longest time and nobody enjoyed Contra: Rogue Corps, a poor attempt at giving the classic franchise new life.
Right now, there's still no release date for Castlevania Season 3 so fans are going to have to wait for a bigger announcement from Netflix. Still, at least we know that things are moving along nicely.
