We've all been patiently waiting for Castlevania Season 3 to debut on Netflix after the first two seasons blew us away but there haven't been a lot of details thus far. Though a third season is expected, there hasn't been a lot of clues for us to chew on, which has been disappointing. In a move that will make a lot of people happy, Powerhouse Animation decided to cryptically tweet a simple 2020 post but formed the numbers with Dracula emojis.

Also, Powerhouse Animation animated Castlevania Season 1 and Season 2, so this is basically a release window for the third season. It's better than not getting anything, that's for sure and we can't wait to hear more news about the next installment in this gore-filled adventure. Let's also hope for more episodes since eight just isn't enough.

If they keep Warren Ellis in the writing team, which seems likely, then we are ensured another quality season of this amazing video game adaptation. The fact that this is the best video game adaptation ever made, with Detective Pikachu a close second but nothing else, has us really excited for another season of monster killing.

Considering the lack of Castlevania games from Konami, who are too busy re-releasing old games and making new pachinko machines, this is the next best thing for fans of the older games.

The first two seasons of Castlevania are now streaming on Netflix.
