There is little doubt that Jaskier was one of the highlights in the latest trailer for The Witcher Season 2. However, the character did not appear in the show's new poster which featured Geralt of Rivia, Princess Ciri, and Yennefer of Vengerberg. Luckily, Netflix found a way to honor the bard. A new "poster" puts the focus on Joey Batey's fan-favorite character.
Fans were understandably delighted when Jaskier showed up in the last minutes of the new trailer for The Witcher Season 2. However, people were also disappointed that the bard doesn't have his own poster for the upcoming season. The Netflix Geeked Twitter account noticed that fans were asking for a Jaskier poster and decided to give people what they are asking for. Check it out below.
It's an awesome poster that pleases all Jaskier fans. After all, people are hoping that the bard will play a larger role in The Witcher Season 2. There are also speculations about Jaskier's only scene in the new trailer and wondering why Geralt of Rivia is calling on his old friend for help. Hopefully, we'll get more details about the bard's role soon.
Jaskier isn't the only one that fans have been looking for. People also wanted to see more of Roach so someone created a poster featuring Geralt's noble steed.
The Witcher Season 2 will follow Geralt and Ciri as they make their way to Kaer Morhen so the latter could begin her training. The series will also reveal what happened to Yennefer after the Battle of Sodden Hill and as the trailer confirms, there are more threats ahead.
The second season of The Witcher will bring back Henry Cavill as Geralt, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Joey Batey as Jaskier. The series will return on Netflix on December 17, 2021.
