Netflix Addams' Family Spinoff Wednesday Reveals 10 New Cast Members

A new live-action Netflix series from Tim Burton is about to arrive with the spinoff of the Addams Family, Wednesday, and the streaming platform proudly announced that ten new cast members are joining the production as Jenna Ortega comes back to school at the magical Nevermore Academy as the titular character.

Netflix proudly dropped the news that ten new cast members for the upcoming live-action Netflix series of Tim Burton's Wednesday, a spinoff to the Addams Family, on the official Netflix Geeked Twitter page, and big names are joining Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams.

The matriarch of the family would be Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and alongside her would be Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams. Also joining the cast would be Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay who will play as the popular student in Nevermore Academy, and Emma Myers will be the roommate of Wednesday, Enid Sinclair.

The cast will also be having Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, a friend of Wednesday; Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Otinger, her schoolmate in Nevermore Academy; Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus who is a Gorgon Student; Naomi Ogawa as Yoko Tanawa playing the cool vampire kid at Nevermore; and Percy Hynes White as a supernaturally artistic student named Xavier Thorpe.

Completing the cast would be Jamie McShane who will play Sheriff Donovan Galpin, a character with a vendetta versus Gomez Addams; Thora Birch will be portraying Tamara Novak, the dorm mother of Wednesday and the only normal person on the staff of Nevermore Academy; and Riki Lindhome would be Dr. Valerie Kinbott who will be a local therapist laying eyes and particular interest on Wednesday.

The series will be the first-ever TV direction of Tim Burton and it will be penned by the creators of Smallville, Al Gough, and Miles Millar. Burton is also the executive producer of the show and Millar and Gough are the showrunners as well. They would be joined by Kayla Apert who will also be an executive producer for Wednesday.

Wednesday does not have an official release date yet as it is still in pre-production.
