Na Chul Cause of Death: Weak Hero Class 1, Vicenzo Actor Dead at 36 + Funeral Confirmed

Actor Na Chul, who notably appeared in several hit Kdramas, including Weak Hero Class 1 and Vicenzo, has died. He was 36.

The South Korean TV industry lost one of its rising actors after Na Chul passed away this month. He notably started his career in 2010 when he made his theatrical debut in the play Anne’s Diary.

From there, he starred in more Korean dramas and films. Unfortunately, his career was cut short by his recent unexpected passing.

Actor Na Chul’s Cause of Death

South Korean news outlets, including Star News Korea, confirmed that Na Chul died on Saturday at the age of 36.

According to reports, he died after being rushed to a hospital following a sudden health complication. He received medical care at the medical facility, but he died a few hours later.

His family is yet to confirm what exactly Na Chul’s cause of death was. Meanwhile, the JoongAng said his health worsened before his passing.

Following the announcement of his death, his colleagues and fans paid tribute to him through heartfelt social media posts. Among the messages read:

“Korean actor Na Chul/나철 (HAPPINESS, WEAK HERO CLASS ONE) died earlier today from ongoing health complications. He had turned 36 just last month. He was such a great intuitive actor. Condolences to his family, for whom Seollal will never be the same again. May he rest in peace,” Jae Ha Kim said.

A fan wrote, “His character was one of the most entertaining and memorable in #happiness rest in peace.”

Actress Kim Go Eun, whom he worked with in Little Women, posted a tribute on Instagram in which she called him “the best actor ever.”

Another Little Women co-star, Uhm Ji Won, also sent a heartfelt message to the actor.

Among the flicks Na Chul appeared in included A Superior Day, Once Upon a Small Town, Happiness, Stranger 2, Touch Your Heart, D.P., Jirisan, Vicenzo, Hospital Playlist 2 and Weak Hero Class 1.

Na Chul’s Funeral Details Revealed

Na Chul’s family shared the funeral details a few days after his death.

According to publications, his funeral will be held on Jan. 23 at the Soonchunhyang University Hospital Funeral Home in Seoul. It remains unknown who among his friends in the TV and film industry will attend the ceremony.
