The Doctor Stranger actress inspired her fans with her fitness journey as she shredded a huge amount of weight soon after giving birth. She welcomed her daughter in April 2021, months after marrying her non-celebrity husband in 2020.
Finally, Kang So Ra revealed how she managed to lose weight fast.
Kang So Ra Reveals Her Diet
Kang So Ra appeared as a special guest on the Jan. 17 episode of the SBS Power FM radio show Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time. During the discussion, she was asked about the secrets that keep her body fit and how she lost weight.
The Revolutionary Love actress said the world already knew about what she does since she already has a history of losing weight. She added that a person basically has to starve and exercise at the same time.

“You can't think about losing weight while you're eating three meals a day. That's just unrealistic,” she said. "I eat smaller meals and I starve the next day whenever I overeat. I do ballet these days but I also do weight lifting and yoga."
As for her 20kg weight loss, Kang So Ra said she ultimately changed her lifestyle by still eating but restricting herself from eating pastries. She recalled how she used to get snacks during break time when she was in high school, saying she does not do it anymore.
Kang So Ra Has New KDrama
Kang So Ra’s interview aired a day before her new Kdrama series, Strangers Again, aired.
Premiered on Jan. 18 at 9 pm KST, the drama explores the lives of two lawyers who marry each other after 10 years of dating. However, they end up filing for divorce. The ex-couple meet again as colleagues, giving them a chance to try their love again.
Kang So Ra plays the role of Oh Ha Ra. She works with Jang Seung Jo’s Goo Eun Beom in the series. The other cast members include Jo Eun Ji and Lee Jae Won.
