Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang might appear in one Kdrama together as they received an offer to star in the new fantasy romantic comedy, My Demon.
Among the Korean actors and actresses in the industry, both Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang have been turning people’s heads with their Kdrama movies and series.
For the actress’s part, she notably starred in the hit romance film 20th Century Girl in 2022. She also famously became the lead star of Love in the Moonlight, Clean with Passion for Now, Backstreet Rookie, Because I Love You, The 8th Night and Lovers of the Red Sky.
On the other hand, Song Kang earned the title Son of Netflix as most of his series made it to the streaming giant’s catalog. Among his works include Forecasting Love and Weather, Love Alarm, Sweet Home, Nevertheless, Navillera and When the Devil Calls Your Name.
The two might soon add the same Kdrama under their belt after they started the discussions to star in the new series together.
Kim Yoo Jung, Song Kang in Talks To Work Together in My Demon
JTBC released two articles confirming that Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung might work together in a new drama.
The publication cited industry representatives on Jan. 18, saying that the duo might star in My Demon. Following the emergence of the report, their agencies responded and confirmed the development.
Song Kang’s agency, Namoo Actors, said, “My Demon’ is one of the projects he has been offered.”

Meanwhile, Kim Yoo Jung’s company Awesome ENT shared, “It is one of the projects she is considering.”
They received offers to play the lead roles of Jung Gu Won and Do Do Hee’s roles.
My Demon explores the lives of a chaebol heiress, Do Do Hee, who is everyone’s enemy and a demon named Jung Gu Won who loses his power. They live together so he can work with her to regain what he lost. But they develop a romantic relationship while trying to reach their goal.
Mr. Queen writer Choi Ah Il will write My Demon. Further details about the drama are yet to be shared with the public.
Kim Yoo Jung To Become Part of a Stage Play
Aside from a new Kdrama, Kim Yoo Jung is also gearing up ahead of her appearance in Shakespeare in Love alongside Chae Soo Bin.
The play is an adaptation of the 1998 movie of the same name. It tells the story of the young William Shakespeare, who meets Viola while starting his journey as a writer. Reports said the play would follow their love story.
It will mark Kim Yoo Jung’s first theater acting.
