My Hero Academia Movie World Heroes' Mission Confirmed for August Release


It looks like the My Hero Academia franchise is on a roll. The fifth season of the anime series has just premiered and now, fans can look forward to more content. The new My Hero Academia movie World Heroes' Mission has just been confirmed for release in August.

The new film, which is titled My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes' Mission, got an awesome teaser to confirm its release. The short preview features Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki suiting up and preparing for a major fight. Check it out below.

Interestingly, it looks like Deku is wanted to mass murder. Fans are well aware that Deku would never do something like this so this is a huge mystery to think about for now. Nevertheless, we're hoping that he will get help from Bakugo and Todoroki in the new My Hero Academia movie.

World Heroes' Mission will be the third film for My Hero Academia. It was preceded by My Hero Academia: Two Heroes in 2018 and My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising the following year.

The announcement for the new film comes at an interesting time. After all, the first episode of My Hero Academia Season 5 has just premiered. It certainly confirms that fans will have no shortage of new content from the franchise. In addition to that, the events in the fifth season could lead directly to World Heroes' Mission.

My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes' Mission is set to premiere in Japan on August 6, 2021. My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 1 is now available for streaming on Funimation and Crunchyroll.
