My Hero Academia Fans React to Mirko in Action in Season 6 Episode 1

My Hero Academia Mirko

Following the series premiere during the weekend, My Hero Academia fans took to Twitter to share their reactions to Mirko in the first episode of Season 6.

Last Saturday, October 1, the first episode of My Hero Academia Season 6 finally aired, and unlike previous seasons which featured a recap episode to start things off, this season’s Episode 1 dove right into the action.

It also serves as a setup for all the exciting events that will happen in the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.

While Mirko has appeared in the My Hero Academia anime before, this is the first time that fans are seeing her in action in animated form.

Near the end of the episode, Mirko is seen facing off against some powerful Nomu, showing off her fighting skills.

These initial action scenes with Mirko already delighted fans of the series, causing lots of posts about her to trend online.

In case you need a refresher, My Hero Academia Season 5 was a bit of a subdued season in terms of action.

Many fans consider the season to be quite underwhelming as it didn’t have major villains like Overhaul in Season 4 or All For One in Season 3.

Season 6 is set to bring the action back up though as it covers the Paranormal Liberation War Arc in Kohei Horikoshi’s manga.

Manga readers call this arc one of the most action-packed and among the best of the series.

In this war, not only do the likes of Deku and Bakugo shine, but other Pro Heroes and villains have lots of memorable moments too.

Many fans consider Mirko’s moments to be one of the best, making her a fan favorite.

Mirko (aka Rumi Usagiyama) is the current No. 5 Pro Hero, and her Quirk is called Rabbit.

As its name implies, Mirko’s Quirk gives her abilities and attributes of a rabbit, which means she has incredibly strong legs that she can use to kick with extreme force, as well as to jump high.

On top of these, Mirko also has sharp hearing along with animal instincts that alert her to danger.

Some of these abilities were shown in the episode, to the delight of fans online.

Fans praised how studio Bones animated Mirko’s scenes in the first episode, with many expressing their excitement for the next episode.

This is because Episode 1 only gave us a taste of what to expect. Based on the events in the manga, Episode 2 will likely center around Mirko and the continuation of her fight against the Nomus.
