Here’s What Happened Before My Hero Academia Chapter 389

My Hero Academia Chapter 388 is titled Toya, and it starts with Itsuka Kendo eliminating All For One's subordinates who damaged the system's foundation.

She believes that the system is hopeless and that reactivation is impossible. She tells the evacuees to resurface and meet the U.A. robots, who can transfer them.

Moreover, Itsuka asked everyone to mount the robots and direct them. It was pouring outside, and the civilians had to stay calm because there were more than enough robots to go around.

Above all, evacuees must not turn or even look back. She also asked them not to look at Dabi's blue flames since there was no time to waste and none of them could stay any longer.

When Rei realized this, she stepped away from her children and asked Natsuo to watch after his sister.

Rei instructed her U.A. robot to transport her to the epicenter, to which the robot answered that they exist to fulfill the desires of humans.

Rei used her ice quirk to go close to Dabi and Endeavor in an attempt to cool Dabi off.

Endeavor yells at Rei for doing the unthinkable, warning her that if she doesn't leave now, she will burn to death.

But Rei refused since she saw Endeavor and Dabi are ready to die together.

That's when Dabi recognizes Rei and addresses her as Mom, to which Rei apologizes.

Surprisingly, Dabi recognizes Natsuo and Fuyumi, who raced after and followed their mother all the way, much to Rei's distress.

Fuyumi begs Dabi not to take everyone with him since she can't stomach losing anyone else.

At the same time, Natsuo steps in as memories of him and Dabi run through his mind, telling Dabi to stop causing trouble for everyone.

As the Todorokis continue to shoot ice at Dabi, Endeavor considers a means to keep his family out of Dabi's explosion.

He believes that Dabi's body is going to blow if he can blast off and add his own heat to the mix.

Endeavor begs Dabi not to kill anyone else and that he should be enough, but Dabi can only insult his father and respond with stifled laughter.
