Here’s What Happened Before My Hero Academia Chapter 381

Gentle is nearing his limit in keeping the U.A. fortress afloat with his quirk, while La Brava rushes to activate the new program she created in My Hero Academia Chapter 380.

Gentle monologues as he sees Deku zip by him so quickly, implying that the boy might have put his trust in him to keep U.A. from falling, though he wasn't sure.

Despite the lack of cameras or an audience to cheer him on, Gentle's heart is full, knowing he did the right thing. However, Gentle notices a group of business students filming his heroic deed, not minding the dangers around them.

He tries to persuade the students to stop what they're doing, but they say they should've kept better public relations.

The students also try to convince Gentle that it is their solemn duty as heroes of the business course to connect the heroes and the public at all costs.

La Brava's voice suddenly comes through one of the student's cellphones, saying that she has already made U.A. float again and is on to the next step.

A slew of live streams featuring Gentle appear online, and La Brava instructs the students to keep filming Gentle so that his legendary exploits do not go unnoticed.

This moment, however, was cut short when one of Twice's clones managed to push Eraserhead out of the fortress.

Mic came after Eraserhead to save him, but the two of them fell down into a portal, making it appear as if Kurogiri saved them both.

Mandalay realizes that this may not have been the case, as this is also an excellent opportunity for Shigaraki to flip the situation.

Despite this, Mandalay wants to believe that they are fine, especially Deku, who bears everyone's hope.

All For One attempts to flee from the fighting in the Gunga Ruins in order to go to Shigaraki and fix his messed-up plan. He must use Shigaraki to absorb his quirk factor in order to permanently seal him.

Hawks tries to stop All For One, saying that this is their story, especially the young ones, and that he will not hand it over to a monster like him, who would rather finish a story with a demon lord.

In response, All For One claims that the winds of fortune are blowing his way, destroying half of Hawks' body and traumatizing Tokoyami.

Fortunately, Hawks' attack was only a ruse, as Camie Utsushimi appeared out of nowhere to join the battle with her Hawks illusion.

Camie explains that they were originally tasked with escorting civilians as they evacuated from U.A. through the tunnels, but they never showed up.

As a result, they assumed that something was wrong, which is why Shiketsu High School's hero course decided to go to Gunga Ruins and reinforce the heroes.

Before the chapter ends, Inasa provokes All For One by claiming that the wind isn't in his favor because he is the one who is blowing it.

He uses his ability to gather some of Twice's clones in one location and fly them into the air.
