Mushoku Tensei’s return is just a bit over a month away. Now, Mushoku Tensei season 2 part 2 revealed its ending theme, and it will be performed by Yuiko Ohara.
Along with the ending, the show’s latest opening theme was also revealed. Details about the show’s new theme songs were shared on the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Yuiko Ohara's return for a new theme song is welcome news for fans. After all, Ohara is a fixture in the Mushoku Tensei anime.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Part 2 Reveals Yuiko Ohara as Ending Theme Singer
Mushoku Tensei season 1 had a split-cour release schedule, with parts 1 and 2 airing in winter 21 and fall 21, respectively. Surprisingly, all of the first season’s openings and endings were performed by Yuiko Ohara.
For the second season, Ohara returned, though she did not perform both themes. Instead, she was tapped for the part 1 ending theme.
Part 2 will see Ohara perform another song, this time it’s another ending theme titled Mamoritaimono (or What I Want to Protect) in English.
Aside from Mushoku Tensei, Ohara is also known for performing themes for other popular anime such as Little Witch Academia and Teasing Master Takagi-san.

Mushoku Tensei Taps Hitorie for Latest Opening Theme
Along with the new ending, Mushoku Tensei also revealed that season 2 part 2’s opening theme is titled On the Frontline, which will be performed by the Japanese rock band Hitorie.
This is the first song for Mushoku Tensei from the band. That doesn’t mean Hitorie is new to anime songs though, as the band has performed several songs for hit shows.
These include the theme song of 86 and Divine Gate, as well as the seventh ending song of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Returns in April
As one of the most popular isekai anime right now, Mushoku Tensei delighted fans when it returned with season 2 last year. Despite also being a two-cour show, the second season has a split-cour schedule.
This meant fans had to wait for a while before its return. Finally, the second season is coming back with part 2, which will be released in Japan on April 7 at 24:00 (or April 8 at midnight Japan time).
As the second season’s first part was streamed on Crunchyroll, fans will also be able to watch Mushoku Tensei season 2 part 2 on Crunchyroll during the spring season.
